IBCLC Mentorship Opportunities

Hoosier Breast Friend LLC is accepting IBCLE pathway 3 candidates as mentees. IBLCE pathway 1 candidates are also welcome to contact us about clinical observation, mentorship, and observation. At this time, we are accepting in-person mentees.

Minimum Requirements

• Health science courses completed

• 45 hours of lactation specific education

• Commitment to completion of any remaining lactation education hours

• Signed non-disclosure agreement

• Reliable transportation

Fees

Option A: $15 per appointment or class attended

Option B: up to 5 appointments/classes per month

$50/month OR $285 semi-annually OR $540 annually

Option C: unlimited appointments/classes each month

$100/month OR $570 semi-annually OR $1080 annually

At the conclusion of Phase 2 of mentorship, the mentee may opt to become a subcontractor of Hoosier Breast Friend LLC. Fees will remain as described above, but the mentee will be paid a contracted rate for appointments they conduct.

NOTE: we do not leave space open for drop-in observation. All observation of classes, support groups, or appointments must be pre-arranged. A signed non-disclosure agreement must be on file, and all fees must be paid in advance.
