We provide individualized lactation and breastfeeding support for you and your baby. We understand that babies do not follow calendars, so we do our best to offer flexible week and weekend hours. Each visit includes an intake, assessment, and easy-to-implement care plan.
Fees
Fees vary based on insurance coverage. If your policy does not cover lactation or if we are out of network, you may schedule a self-pay appointment. The fee schedule below applies to self pay visits. Payment is due at the time of service.
Please discuss any concerns regarding ability to pay prior to your appointment. You may be eligible for discounted services.

Travel Fees
Home visits are subject to a $20 service fee, which helps to offset the cost of travel. This fee is included in the self-pay rate. For those who will use insurance coverage for their visit, a separate $20 fee will apply.

We are in network with most plans for the following companies:

Other insurance companies may cover your appointments 100% through gap exceptions or The Lactation Network. Please contact us directly at hello@hoosierbreastfriend.com for further information.
Federal law requires most health insurance companies to provide coverage for lactation services. If we are not in network with your insurance company, you may schedule an appointment as a self pay patient.
Self pay patients will receive a superbill, which can be submitted to the insurance company for reimbursement. Reimbursement cannot be guaranteed but we will code your superbill appropriately and accurately.
